Breath

Abstract

I created this artwork during my home art / quarantine due the pandemic. Here are a few factors that inspired me to create this piece.
1. CDC guideline mentioned people should stay home who have lung diseases such as asthma and my age.
2. I missed to see cherry blossom tidal basin visit in DC before stay home order. I have so much fear
3. I thought of Anges Pelton, spirituality female painter from 1881 - 1961 and the theology color chart that she used in her time. As I used same color chart to follow spirituality color.
4. I want to have a painting to hang up at my studio- as a reminder that I can get strength in inner core to have deaf identity to carry on with our walking of path in our life. Be grateful with our earth, take care of earth and ourselves.
