Why Fit in When You Were Born to be Different

Abstract

Featured here is a close friend of mine, an African American male born with a genetic mutation not commonly found in people of color - blue eyes. People often think his blue eyes are the result of colored contact lenses but they are not. He is so different and that's okay. Being different is beautiful even when you have had a wild and crazy life. The beauty in life lies in the fact that each individual is just that - individual. We are all different, unique, and carry our own stories. -Shaynedonovan Elliott
