The White Owner was Controlling to Deaf Black Slavery Woman

Abstract

“During the 1800's, the white owner was not friendly to the Deaf Black slave woman and gave her a "snobby" facial expression. The white owner shoved the Deaf Black woman away because she could not accept the mistake that the Deaf Black woman brought the wrong bag into the house. The Deaf Black woman wasn't able to read the words on the bags and could not communicate with the white owner.” -Takiyah Harris
