Vestidos Mexicanos de Forklore

Abstract

It is a homemade Mexican Forklore dress for my niece. It contained a symbol of eagle which represents Mexican’s culture, heritage and pride.

A burgundy ribbon tied on head, 2 long beaded necklaces with green and red beads; a white shirt with floral designs. 2 green scarf-like fabrics with burgundy floral designs worn and made into an upper body covering. One of the fabrics has fringed ends. The lower part of the dress is glossy green with a large portion in the middle in burgundy decorated with a large, green eagle in the middle and small green circles around it. The child is standing on an elevated surface covered with a sarape decorated in color stripes of burgundy, brown, white, green and red.]
