Description
[ID: A large quilt of 15 squares made from construction paper and drawings put together. Starting with the first row at the top (left to right): (1) red background with white paper filled with overlapping, zigzag orange, blue, and black lines. (2) blue background featuring a tree with deep roots drawn with marker on white paper. (3) a red and white background with green slightly in the back; a colored pencil drawing of a sugar skull on brown paper. (4) gray background with a marker outline of México with northern part of the country in green and the southern part in red. The artwork of the Mexican flag in the center.
Row 2: (5) A green background with 6 family members cut from brown construction paper with white shirts and brown skin overlapping the Six Flags logo. (6) the background are the colors of the Mexican flag; the center is a paper specially cut to display the artwork of the Mexican flag. (7) a brown background with 4 individual squares inside a grey background: the top left square is Mexico's flag; the top right square is a tree on a pile of dirt with the sun in the sky; the bottom left square is a gray temple with a yellow backdrop; the bottom right square is the country's outline of México green on a blue background. All of the smaller squares are surrounded by a border of red, green, and white leaves cut from construction paper. (8) a purple background with a color pencil drawing of a tree colored rainbow with the word ""roots"" on the right side of the tree.
Row 3: (9) a black background with a color pencil drawing on white paper of a family of 4 eating dinner at a dinner table. (10) a blue background with a black marker drawing of a sombrero. (11) the background is the Mexican flag with neon green at the top and neon orange at the bottom. On the flag there are 4 family members featured cut from construction paper and drawn with colored pencil the words ""mom"" and ""dad"" are on the white portion of the flag, on the green portion of the flag there is a brown hand cut out of white paper and colored with marker. (12) background is pink with the Mexican flag cut into a heart shape from construction paper on top.
