Deaf Worldview: Cochlear Implant is No Dental Implant
Abstract
The worldview held by the Deaf community is that they feel they are ignored by the medical and scientific communities when it comes to Cochlear Implant. Metaphorically, dentures represent the group that supports CI. The dentures laugh all the way to the bank for they profit from CI technology/industry.
