Text
Iron Maiden
She slips on each finger
Pure steel over silky skin
One by one in
A slow rhythm like
The beating of a
Hypnotic drum
Or the rushing of
Blood through
My veins
Measured by the
Cadence of my breath
The whisper of fabric
Against cool metal
Like the drip of water
Out of a faucet
Or the moisture
Around her teeth
While my tongue
Travels my sculpted lips
And the even blinking
Of an iron stare
That heavy handle
Against her soft hip
Right before, just before
The cracking of her
Steady whip
crystal l.m. roberts
She slips on each finger
Pure steel over silky skin
One by one in
A slow rhythm like
The beating of a
Hypnotic drum
Or the rushing of
Blood through
My veins
Measured by the
Cadence of my breath
The whisper of fabric
Against cool metal
Like the drip of water
Out of a faucet
Or the moisture
Around her teeth
While my tongue
Travels my sculpted lips
And the even blinking
Of an iron stare
That heavy handle
Against her soft hip
Right before, just before
The cracking of her
Steady whip
crystal l.m. roberts
