Juan Estrella

Juan Rafael Estrella was born in 1978 in the Dominican Republic. He grew up with only pencil and paper available to him, which eventually emerged into his love for drawing. He began drawing at the age of four and his portraits were particularly inspired by the people and the animals.

Estrella's interest in art continued to progress at the age of 8. He began learning how to oil paint, early on, from Guillo Perez Academy of Art in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Estrella received his Associate's Degree of Science in Graphic design from Tampa Technical Institute in Tampa, Florida in 2001. Estrella worked in his own studio room. He had created his own orent oil paintings, plein air paintings, abstracts, and studio paintings. In addition, he had new experiences that taught him perspective, color theory and further developed artistic skills which later translated into his work with acrylics.

In 2009, Estrella, he had a new style that was his creative paintings.
