James Cooley

When I Was Home

When I Was Home, 2009

Mixed media

My name is James Cooley. I am DeafBlind. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland. I graduated with bachelor in Fine Arts Studio from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. I enjoy exploring different mediums. I have made few short films that screened at several deaf film festivals. I enjoy being involved in theatre and occasionally paint. Currently, I enjoy drawing with pen and ink and sell prints on Etsy.
