Twelve Hours

Abstract

Time repeats day in and day out thus each hat rotates every hour to preserve time from decaying. Each hat collects frayed time and recycles it. They complete each cycle per day and each cycle per night to keep time functioning and going forward.

Description

A bare tree trunk stands in a field of rose bushes with a bare patch of earth at the base of the tree. Behind the tree is a blue sky with fluffy white clouds attached to the ends of the branches of the tree. A melting teal clock with white lines rests at the Y-split of the lowest branches of the tree. Black bowler hats float around the tree, with an upturned one resting on the ground in the middle of the bare patch.
