Surrender

Abstract

The half fish and human baby has been caught with a fishing hook with a messy tangle of fishing line. The fish has tears showing emotions unseen in fish. Adult hands surrounding the baby represents control of the fate of the victim. This is parallel to the experience of many Deaf babies who may encounter a challenging life ahead with Audism or Ableism ( societal oppression, eugenics and inequality).
