Logo History: The TRUE+WAY ASL logo was originally inspired by TRUE+WAY ASL actor Roberto Sandoval and designed by artist Jannifer Williams. The star in the logo comes from the state flag of Texas, of which TRUE+WAY ASL was born in. Purple represents TRUE+WAY ASL co-author Dr. Nathie L. Marbury’s favorite color. The color yellow represents the millions of unique Deaf stars in the many Deaf communities all over the world that keep sign languages alive and accessible to Deaf children. The shooting “tails” from the star represent fingers/hands signing fluently.
